Gayle Jeffrey

I thought I would include some necklaces created by a jeweler, Gayle Jeffrey, who will be displaying her things at the art event that will be hosted by my sister in Ojai.  I think they are wonderful, delicate pieces with little hidden details, that work well with my Devotional Art!

 

Earthly Delights

I've been preparing for my trip to California and for the upcoming art event my sister and her friend Annie are going to host in Ojai.  I thought I would post these photos of some of the pieces that I created for the show.  Wanting to work with some warm earthy colors, because they remind me of Ojai and the Santa Barbara area,  I found these great faceted carnelian stones that I featured in these Devotional Art pieces. They work nicely with the amber vintage bottles and add so much dimension.  The rose featured on the Purex bottle is also carnelian. 

Pink Barn

October is "breast cancer awareness" month.  Pink is everywhere.  I thought I would post this picture of a pink barn that I took last year while I was driving with my daughter.  You might think this was taken in Idaho, but actually it is in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In the meantime, I have been busy making devotional art pieces and fulfilling orders.
